    I need to backup and move my website and the backup just keeps saying…processing.
   Please help. Thanks.

 * Thanks. So I’m kind of new at this. I need the backup to move my site to another
   hosting site. Will this help and how does it work… if it’s not too much trouble.
   i mean do I download it to my computer of will it just take all my files and 
   database from the site. I need help.

 * It has always worked flawlessly for me. It’s a plugin, so you just install it
   into your WordPress site, set up a backup path and then make a backup. The backup
   can then be downloaded to your computer using [FTP](http://codex.wordpress.org/FTP_Clients)
   or use whatever file management application your host provides.
 * Alternatively, see if your hosts have a database backup tool that you can use.

 * Sorry… I really feel dumb but I can’t figure out how to install it to the wordpress
   site. I have downloaded it to my computer and I see the dbc backup file but that’s
   where I’m stuck.

 * OK I have it installed but I don’t know how to use it (or set up a backup path)

 * We can’t really help with setting up the backup path. You should be able to obtain
   your hosting root path from your hosts. Once you have that, I can only suggest
   that you create a folder called backups outside of the publically accessible 
   web folder called backups and use `/path_from_hosts/backup` in DBC. Once that
   is set up correctly, select Backup Now from the upper dropdown.
