Tried to take backup using both automatically & manually.
But in both option whenever I click “Run now”, then it’s going on & on, not showing any upgrade bar or anything like that, I tried only the database for the first time, but after waiting for hours still
“Backing up database…” When I take a look at my cpanel I found a file of 64 mb where your plugin told me it’ll be around 94 mb for my site, so that was still running on that time. But stopped at around 64 every time. Showing no error & the hosting space is not full. So, what is the reason behind this? Can you please help?

    Hey there guys –

First things first, @jibsoux – it sounds like your issue might be different since your database backups do work while they don’t for the original poster. Could you start your own topic so we could work through troubleshooting that works more specifically for your issue? Thanks!

@corvusmile – Can you just let me know a few things specifically and work through the basic troubleshooting so we know (hopefully) a little more about what the problem might be?

You said you tried the database only backup and it just spun without completing – did you also try the files only backup or just the complete one? If you didn’t try the files by themselves, could you try that for me to see if it does anything differently?

Did the plugin previously work for you and suddenly stop working or are you trying to get it working after initially installing it?

One last thing – if you can enable support on your site, you can copy and paste information about your server here (just use “xxx” if there is any identifying URLs or anything you don’t want to appear). To do that, go to the BackUpWordPress admin page on your site and click the “Enable Support” button at the top of that page. When you click to enable support, you’ll then be able to copy and paste that server information. If it doesn’t pop up in a small window for you to copy and paste, then go to the top of that page and click on the small “Help” tab on the righthand side of the top of the page. From the dropdown, click on the “Server” section, where all the information should be listed and able to be copied and pasted. Let me know if you have trouble with that.

    Thanks!

    Hi,
Thanks for your reply. After reading your reply I went to my site & found everything is working perfectly. All those schedule & manuals, too.
    But facing another problem now.
I downloaded the backup zip file & placed that folder (after unzipping) in my htdocs & imported that sql in the mysql db. Created user & password as wp-config says. Changed the site url & home in table.
But, after all these, the site shows blank at my local server.
Can you help me with that or as the problem turns a bit different, will I need to open another support thread?

    Update-
    I managed to solve it.
As I changed my wp-content folder using iTheme security that made the problem.

But another error is happening. Whenever I click to any link (any post or category) it takes me to xampp folder. May be this is no way related with the plugin, but if you face this before or any one in the forum I think I’ll get a suggestion.

    Update-
Hi found the solution by myself.
After login I saved the permalink again & all the pages are loading fine.
    Thanks for this awesome plugin.
    Thanks a lot.

Hey there – I’m glad you figured that one out. I would have said it was worth checking out the Permalinks to see if resetting those fixed that, but you figured that out! 😀

If you have additional issues don’t hesitate to start a new topic! And thanks!

    Sorry to bother you again.
This is happening again for another site.
“whenever I click “Run now”, then it’s going on & on”
This is happening while taking complete backup (db+file).
Manual or weekly backup nothing is working.

Hey there @corvusmile – Sorry I missed this response from you previously. Were you able to resolve this one or did you need more help?

Hey there – so we can keep all our support issues current, I’m going to go ahead and list this as resolved (since the original issue was resolved) but if you are still having issues please don’t hesitate to start a new topic so we can troubleshoot further!

    Thanks,
    Kat
