 * How well does it support export and import from one domain to another domain?
   Local to staging or production?
 * Is there a rewrite setting?
    Does it have to be done in the backup? Or can It
   be done in the import? The latter would be preferable especially when using the
   cloud.

 * The plugin can automatically create a backup and import it to target site and
   restore it with rewirte rules. You can try it on your test site.

 * Can you show me or have a knowledge base about this. I can see backup, import
   and restore but not with rewrite rules. Is the rewrite rules settings on the
   backup or on the import it’s a big difference.
 * Thanks

 * Hello
    No settings for rewrite rules If you insert your rewrite rules into the
   htaccess file of your website root directory, then our plugin can backup and
   restore it 100%, if it is custom htaccess file, the free version does not support.

 * No no, I refer to it as SQL and file rewrite from e.g domain.local to staging.
   domain.com

 * Oh, I totally misunderstood.
    I don’t really understand what you said and its
   use scenario. Can you explain to me the standard process of this scenario?

 * I want to create a backup on my local environment and import it to the staging
   or production.
 * Then I which the rewrite can be done in the import. So I click import and then“
   do you want to rewrite?” Yes/No. And then I can find x.com replace with y.com
 * It would be best and unique to have it in the import part. This since the backups
   cna then be used both ways. And the backup is not “raw coded” with the assigned
   domain.

 * Oh,
    I think I understand, the scenario you are talking about is a standard migration
   workflow in our products, Use our plugin to back up website a.com, then import
   it into your staging site (site B.com), click Restore, our plugin will automatically
   replace domain a.com with domain b.com. After the restore is complete, you can
   use domain b.com to access your staging website. The domain replacement rule
   is: replace the domain with the domain of the current website. I don’t know if
   I explained it clearly?

 * Okay, that sounds great but why name it to “restore” a bit confusing here. So
   the import is just importing the file then you mean? And “restore” is the actual
   changing the files and data?
 * IS the WordPress version with the cloud storage? Does this work the same when
   creating a backup and “restore” from one domain to the other domain?

 * question one: Restore means ‘to restore files and database’, and the import,
   generally, means ‘to import contents (database)’. we think:)
    question two: I
   don’t understand the exact meaning of ‘IS the WordPress version with the cloud
   storage?’. Let me briefly explain the rules of the restoration It doesn’t matter
   that it is a restore or a migration, the essence is to restore. The difference
   is whether the domain name needs to be replaced. 1. If restoring to the original
   domain a.com to a.com, the domain will not be replaced. 2. If you restore to
   a new domain or url (eg. a.com to b.com (or to a.com/sub-folder)), the domain
   or url is automatically replaced.

 * So it detects automatically, thats great.

 * You have one on your website and one on the WordPress repo. You just referred
   to the beta. So my question is if the WordPress repo is full and includes cloud
   storage such as google drive dropbox etc. Since I did not manage to get any beta
   even by following your steps.

 * That’s what I asked for, but I’ve done it but something seems wrong in your flow
   since I can not download the pro version. I would appreciate it if you could
   share the zip instead since it does not pop up as explained in your setp by step
   guide.
