 * I used this plugin yesterday, it was totally fine, although there are a lot areas
   reserved for ads and buy suggestions, but I could do many backups & restores
   without any problems, so decided to keep the plugin active and use it, at least
   in the development stages.
 * Today, after less that 24 hours, I just discovered that the 3 backups that remained
   from yesterday have disappeared and no longer there.
 * Why did they disappear?

 * Hello,
 * Do you mean the archives were automatically disappeared? Are you sure you didn’t
   manually delete anything from your FTP or database? Could you please check this
   directory: “wp-content/uploads/backup-guard/”? Is it empty?
 * The mentioned issue is really strange and we’d really like to investigate it
   for you. Could you please open a support ticket for this here: [https://backup-guard.com/products/backup-wordpress/support](https://backup-guard.com/products/backup-wordpress/support)?

 * Hi Lisa,
 * Thanks for your reply.
 * I totally agree with you that it is strange, I know for sure there were 3 backup
   files which I kept as I am working on the development of this website.
 * On the FTP, no, I have not deleted any files, the idea behind the activation
   of the plugin is that because I need to backup and restore every short time,
   sometimes in minutes as the development goes on, so I kept the 3 files for specific
   restore points.
 * In the backup folder, there are only 3 json files plus the htaccess file, but
   the backup files are not there for sure.
 * OK, before I go through the support ticket, let me give it another try, but this
   website development, I had to put offline for sometime, but will try it again
   on a different one, in this case I will need sometime, I am not sure a week or
   more, but will keep it in mind.
 * Thanks again and best regard,
