When i sign in to the https://wordpress.backup-technology.com/ account page, it says it run 2 backups, and both have 0 MB stored… which would imply both failed… why is that? 🙂

That’s really something that needs to be asked and answered on the author’s site and not here.
As the author is aware, commercial products are not supported in these forums. As you are their customer I am sure they will have no problem supporting you there.
