    Hi @andymuse

In case of PHP CLI it can’t be timed out.
That means the error you get is false positive.

    As it says:
[WARN] [2021-03-11 11:22:39] Current batch is quite large, it may take some time…

It’s correct, for huge sites like your +10 GB, I recommend you to run the backup in background. I.e. start it and close the window, back in hour or two.

The answer: This is false positive the backup is still running. The reason of that is your browser lost connection with the server. But PHP CLI is not running on web server but separated process.

You can also help the backup to finish much quicker with this:

    Exclude directory by path:
    /var/www/web/wp-content/updraft

If possible exclude files by path:
    /var/www/web/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/happynakedpeople.mov
    /var/www/web/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/Jess-Woolridge-Meets-Andy-In-The-Woods.mov

You can find exclusion rules in first section of the plugin 🙂
Don’t forget to save the settings!

Once you run new backup, the previous one will be killed.

    Hope it helps 🙂

    I’ve removed the updraft file.

    I’ve added exception rules.

    It still doesn’t work…

And now the error report is blank…

    Help please
