# Backup / Export / Import – Meta Data

 * Is there an easy way to Backup all Meta Data for posts and archives for a later
   restore?
 * In my [latest support post](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/woocommerce-shop-feature-killed-all-the-rest-from-wc/)
   i told you that the update of yoast 6.0 killed all data in wp_options -> wpseo_taxonomy_data.
 * The field was just empty, put the data back from an old backup doesnt help and
   i need to backfill all data manually.
 * So now i need an option to backup all (but just) the meta data for all posts/
   pages and archives (categorys/tags), i mean title, description, og, robots and
   canonical or an easy way to export and import the data.
 * Any ideas [@team](https://wordpress.org/support/users/team/) Yoast ?

 * While we don’t have a feature to export all SEO data and import them later, we
   have a feature request currently open in our development repository that you 
   can find here: [https://github.com/Yoast/wordpress-seo/issues/7728](https://github.com/Yoast/wordpress-seo/issues/7728).
   You can also comment on our GitHub feature request to let our development team
   know why you want to see this feature in the Yoast SEO plugin and how this will
   help you and others.
