Every time a backup is done, I get about 10 or more E-Mails and Backup-Files, every few minutes, see:

I have this running on 2 sites, same issue. This is going on for months, but now is the time to ask about it, because I’d really like to have only 1 file/mail, 1 mail/backup 🙂

    Thank you!

I can’t reproduce this on my end, I tried with 3 sites and it works fine. Plugin conflict? I would suggest something might be wrong with the cron, try this plugin to debug it http://10up.com/blog/debug-bar-cron/

Ok I installed this on top of “Debug Bar”-Plugin.

I have an error under ‘Deprecated’:

wp-admin/menu-header.php:128 – Die Benutzung von user_level in Plugins und Themes ist veraltet. Nutze stattdessen das Abfragen von roles oder capabilities.

means: “Use of user_level is deprecated. Use roles or capabilities instead.”

Can you tell st. about that?

Cron Jobs and all look quite in order.

What do I do now to debug your plugin? Should I deactivate other plugins for a while? When exactly?

    Thanks a lot!

Did you see any crons that are related to WP-DBManager? If so how many, a screenshot would help.

yes, deactivating all other plugins would help

The cron looks ok to me.

It’s become worser then ever. Last time I got more then 60 Backup-E-Mails(!) within minutes. I checked server-error-log and there was nothing. My Hoster says he can help me no more. What else can I do? I will have to drop the plugin, but I don’t want to 🙁

Sorry I can’t help you with it because it seems to me it looks like somesort of conflict or weird WP settings you have.

I would suggest you to drop the plugin and use mysqldump with cron to backup your database. You can google for tutorial.
