# Backup Error – Changed database prefix

 * My website was hacked so I wiped it from my host and started again with new a
   new admin name and password. Imported my Backup Guard file. Hit the restore key
   and got the following error:
    SGExceptionMigrationError: Seems you have changed
   database prefix. You should keep it constant to be able to restore this backup.
   Setup your WordPress installation with wp_ datbase prefix.
 * I copy and pasted my old wp-config file over my new one via cpanel, but it still
   wouldn’t work.

 * If you’re running Free version of BackupGuard, then you should setup a new WordPress
   with the same table prefix you had before. As you see the plugin suggests what
   should be the prefix. So, go ahead an setup a clean/new WordPress with the mentioned
   prefix and restore your backup.
 * If you don’t want to change anything, all BackupGuard Pro versions support migration
   feature. BackupGuard Pro will automatically adjust your backup to the new environment.
