 * I have “backup database” in my wordpress dashboard. All I have to do is hit a
   button and it backs up the database in 5 seconds. I know that wordpress.org has
   an article with instructions for backing up the database. Is it just as good
   to use the quicker method as it is to follow the instructions and go into myPHP
   and follow the rest of the instructions in the article?
    Also, I’m not sure how
   to backup the database off of the server, such as into my documents??
 * Thanks!

 * If you have a “backup database” button in your Dashboard, then you must have
   some sort of backup plugin installed, which is fine as long as the plugin works.
 * As for regular backups, follow this guide to backup your files:
 * [http://codex.wordpress.org/Backing_Up_Your_WordPress_Files](http://codex.wordpress.org/Backing_Up_Your_WordPress_Files)
 * and backup your database by following one of the various methods in this article:

 * There is a plugin called wp-db-backup, It’s a handy plugin, you can schedule
   your backup files and it will be sent to your email daily, or weekly (depends
   on the settings you choose)
