# Backup conflict

 * After every backup restore I noticed that the changes are not restored because
   of the WP Super Cache plugin. It is necessary to clear the cache.
   I was wondering
   if it automatically purges the website cache after a while?Or is it a practice
   to manually purge the cache after restoring the backup?

 * It’s common to need to clear the cache after performing a restore to ensure that
   the changes are reflected on your website. WP Super Cache does not automatically
   purge the entire cache after a backup restore; you generally need to do this 
   manually.
 * By default, the WP Super Cache plugin clears the cache every 1,800 seconds, that’s
   the equivalent of 30 minutes. You can wait for that to happen after a restore,
   or just preferably clear the cache manually after it completes.
