    Hi,

I have several sites all on one shared server. I use Updraft Plus to backup up my sites to email. I don’t want to back them up to a folder on my server in case it is the server that is the problem.

Although I have not gone through the restore process yet, reading about it and watching a couple of Youtube videos I hope I never have to.

Would there be any reason why I couldn’t add another backup plugin to each site which stores the backups on my shared server. If I have to restore, and it is not a server issue, then I could use this plugin but if is the server then I have a backup backup in the email.

    I would appreciate your views.

I don’t see any reason not to. I use two different backup methods myself. One is a plugin and the other is a more manual process.

If you do use two plugins, just make sure they don’t run at the same time, as the load might be too much for the server.

    Many thanks James.

    I’ll give it a go.
