Hi, so far as I know there is not an easy end-user (shop owner) solution in WooCommerce to backup and restore only the WooComm tables instead of the whole database. If I am right (?) why is this not build in already? could be a done in a couple of hours, one hour maybe? πŸ˜‰

Why I ask this? because a lot of end-users (shop owners) cut them self in the fingers when they use populair backup/restore plugin’s while they only wanted to restore the shop into a re-designed or other website. Sure blogvault.net has a nice solution, but very expensive and I am already using Duplicator Pro for years for my websites.

Do you have a suggestion or advice?

    Thank you in advance, Alfa.

    Hey there!

Thanks for the suggestions in this. If you’re looking to only partially backup or restore your tables in your database, there are plenty of great tools out there, as you mention blog vault and duplicator.

    Hi Andrew,

Thank you for your response. No, I like to have a solution for non SQL wizards like myself to only backup and restore a shop with out all other database tables. Thats my problem all Googled solutions and suggestions explain a 100% full backup/restore except one: blogvault.

There are hundreds of explanations like this https://www.wpexplorer.com/backup-woocommerce-store/ but actually their title is misleading, it should be “How to backup a WordPress database completely”. The term “Shop” is for some the hole WP website, but I know a lot they have WooCommerce BESIDE the more important content of their WP website.

WooCommmerce CSV backup is for non tech seen als de way to backup, but you and me know that can not handle for example the product images.

Looking to for example the a JSON export/import solution inside the DIVI Builder, that kind of solutions are really perfect. Even with my love & hate relationship with this kind of builders it’s to nice to see that end-users can export their page,Global footer or whatever object/piece to another website. I hope something like this is already there or will be build soon πŸ˜‰
