    Howdy,

I’m having trouble with my updates for Updraft WordPress plugin. The back-ups are being aborted for some reason. In the past the back-ups worked fine, i’m having this issue a couple of weeks. I tried backups to an externe cloud (Google Drive) and also only backups on the local storage. The update log can be found here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/11S1OhUkUQGwhtzhR5I2rgckNDzoy-e8d/view?usp=sharing

I’m hoping this update log can provide some more information about the source of this error and why the updates are aborted. And above all, what I need to do to fix this issue.

    Thanks in advance,

    Thom

    Hi Thom,

Could you try to reduce the backup archive split size. This will split the backup into smaller, more manageable files. To do this, open the ‘expert settings’ section of the UpdraftPlus Settings tab, and find the ‘split backups every’ option. Set this to 100Mb, save your settings and run a new process.

    Kind Regards,
    Bryle

    Hi Bryle,

Thanks for your quick response. I’ve changed the setting to 100Mb and now the backup fully completed again. Thanks for your advice and have a nice evening.

    Sunny regards,
    Thom
