Support » Plugin: Display Featured Image for Genesis » Backstretch not working Foodie Pro

    Hi Robin! First of all, FANTASTIC plugin. I am having difficulty getting backstretch image to appear full width on the Foodie Pro theme. I had Gallery pro and it was fine, but not appearing when I switch to Foodie Pro. These featured images are at least 2500px wide and the Large media setting is set to 1024. Thank you so much once again this plugin is 5 star!

    It looks like your version of Foodie Pro has been customized–at line 1492 in your style.css, there is a max-width: 1140px; set on the .site-container element, which is constraining pretty much everything to that width. In my copy of Foodie Pro, there is no max-width on the .site-container, but there is on the .site-inner, which is below the navigation, featured image, etc.

    If it’s important to you to keep the max-width on the .site-container element, you might try to tweak the .big-leader CSS to be full width–I’ve done similar with this post from CSS Tricks.

    Hope that helps!

    You know what? You are a total rockstar. I couldn’t tell you why the .site-container has a max width but for some reason I need it, I went to your link and this is what worked for me from the tut:

    .big-leader {
      width: 100vw;
      position: relative;
      left: 50%;
      right: 50%;
      margin-left: -50vw;
      margin-right: -50vw;

    And then I set the height to 300px in the plugin settings which seemed to work well for mobile too, image is not too large. Leaving review, once again, 5 star service 🙂

    Awesome! I’m so glad you were able to get what you needed from the link. And thank you so much for the kind words!
