Backslash showing before apostrophe in site name for forum emails

Hello,

My site name has a apostrophe in it, like John’s Scooters for example.

Whenever I subscribe to a thread, I receive an email that shows John\’s Scooters in the title.

Can this be addressed?

We’ve just test and don’t find such an issue this is something specific in your end.
Please let us know you use the wpForo latest version or not? If no, please update it to the latest version and check again.
Also please deactivate the plugins one by one and check after each deactivation to find the problem maker one.
If the issue still exists please register and open new support topic in the wpforo.com support forum for deffer support.

Thanks for getting back to me.

All the Buddypress emails that get sent out show up as normal. It’s only the emails that’re sent out by wpForo that do this.

I remember having a similar issue awhile ago where this was happening on the top of the main forum (where it shows the sites name). I reached out to you guys and it was fixed with the very next update.

I’ll look into this issue some more and see what I can figure out.

Update:

I recently removed every plugin (except wpForo) including BuddyPress per your advice from my other thread.

Unfortunately this (and the email formatting) issue was still present.

Just wanted to give an update.
