    Hi,

    Does your plugin support backorders?

I.e. I have limited stock at hand and can ship within 3 days…therefore I would like to show estimated shipping date in 1-3 days (not estimated delivery, because I use a lot of EU shipping zones and delivery varies extremely).

Other items are not in stock, but can be produced within 2-4 weeks, therefore I use the built in backorders stock option in woocommerce. I would like to show here a longer estimated ship date range.

    Is this possible?

My second question..I use weight based shipping via Flexible shipping or Weight based shipping plugin (default optiins are useless for international sellers).

Would your plugin have a pronlem with that?

Thanks in advance for quick response.

    Regards
    Michal

It shows estimate as to the sum of shipping time (that is given through your shipping methods) plus the product making time (which can be 0 if you prebuild them)

and you can show them a range of days like delivery in next 2 – 3 days time

and you can have large range if your product manufacturing time is more (after receiving the order)

But we can’t say if it will work with your weight-based shipping method (try out the free version if that is working with that plugin then the pro version will also work)

    Hi,

unfortunately your proposal to show a large range ETA is not a good solution at all.

If the seller wants to show an estimated ship date, it must be as short as possible, otherwise some buyers may be scared off.

Therefore the only usable solution would be to have an option to set it as an example below:

Status IN STOCK > Estimated shipping in 1-2 days

Status ON BACKORDER / ON BACKORDER NOTIFY > Estimated shipping in 2-4 weeks.

Maybe in the future you should consider adding this as a new function.

At this point for me personally the plugin is unusable. It works maybe for people who only manages stock on a micro level.

Sorry I am not understanding your point “when you say the estimate is too large”

The plugin shows the estimated time based on the time taken by your shipping company to ship the product + order processing time taken by you in different zones

if your shipping company takes 10 to 15 days it will show 10 – 15

if it takes 1 -2 days it will show the estimate as 1 to 2

this plugin does not deal with the stock, if your product is out of stock it won’t show the estimate
