    Hi!
    If there is no stock i got backorder enabled, so if the customer bought a product i can order it from my supplier and deliver it to the client.

    Currently the customer won’t recieve any kind of confirmation of their order if the product is in backorder. I also want to put a order automaticly in processing that has been back-ordered. Currently it gives the status ‘Completed’, but that’s not true becouse there are no licenses in stock due to the license being backordered.

    Thank you for your message and for using my plugin.

    Backorders are currently not supported by the plugin, it simply ignores them. The recommendation is to disable backorders for licensed products. However, if you cannot do that, I’m afraid that you will have to manually keep track until backorder support is enabled.

    Btw, what would your ideal workflow for a backorder look like? What are your expectations for this feature?

    Hi @drazenbebic !

    Well my ideal workflow for a backorder will be, when the item is not in stock the order will be placed and the shop will get a notification that a order is placed & payed.

    Means when the product will be in stock again, that order will be set to complete and a license will be send to the customer.

    So if a product is out of stock, people can still buy it, when you add license keys again to the stock the order will be completed and the customer will recieve a license in there mail.

    Sounds good, I’ll definitely consider this when the time comes to develop this feature.

    @drazenbebic It would be very cool sending someone a email:
    ‘Your payment has been accepted blablabla, fortunatly we didn’t had your license on stock. But, we will backorder your license blabla and deliver it within 3 hours’
