# Backorder Notification

 * Hi guys,
 * Before updating to 3.0 I had products on backorder. I chose to allow, but not
   to notify the customer.
    If I choose “allow” only, the customer is still informed
   by the message “available on backorder” on the product’s page. How can I deactivate
   that message?

 * When there is no stock at all, I think it’s correct to show that it’s on backorder
   rather than ‘in stock’ which isn’t true. The strings are filterable if you want
   to customise the messages.
