# Backorder email notification quantity calculated incorrectly?

 * Hello – It looks like backorder quantities are being calculated incorrectly in
   the notification email. Example:
    - Product X has 1 in stock
    - Customer orders 2 of product X
    - Backorder email reports that 2 or Product X have been backordered instead 
      of 1.
 * Is this an error or is it intentional?
 * Thanks!
