Backing up WordPress w/Headway theme

    Hi-
    I’m running WordPress 3.0 w/ a Headway theme and need to backup my site so I can update both. Can anyone assist me with directions on how to back up my site? I’d rate myself a novice at best. Read the wordpress backups page and it was a little over my head. Any suggestions?

    Ask your host how to back up the db. Some do it automatically everyday.
    Copy all your files from the server to your pc. Then if something goes wrong you can use ftp to replace all the files.

    Keep in mind if you use the twentyten theme it will be overwritten during the upgrade. A simple solution is to rename it something else.

    Is the Headway theme compatible with 3.1.1? Most of the time when people have problems it is with a plugin that is not 3.1.1 compatible.
