backing up the site whole or patrially?

    Hi,
    i got a wordpress website and i wanted to back it up because i want to update my plugin and i am just to be on safe side want to back up. should i download whole wordpress dir on my root or just wp-content?

    All you really need is wp-content and the files that are in the root folder. I back up the entire site though sense it is no big deal.
