# Backing up content

 * In what files/directories are the content of posts and pages? I backed up the
   entire directory in which WP is installed, but I don’t see which files there 
   contain the actual content of the blog. Where should I be looking (and what should
   I be backing up)?

 * What you need to be backing up is the database, its where all the information
   WordPress uses goes. Skippy has a nice database backup plugin, available at [http://www.skippy.net/blog/category/wordpress/plugins/wp-db-backup/](http://www.skippy.net/blog/category/wordpress/plugins/wp-db-backup/)
