Backing up all items

    Good Morning,

    I have just tried looking through the forum but as I’m new to WP I’m not 100% sure what to search for.

    Basically, I have a template that I have installed in a ‘sandbox’ folder that I want to make some changes to, add in widgets, install plugins etc and then ‘backup’ and roll out to various new sites.

    Is it possible to do this including plugins and databases etc and if what is the best method to do so ?

    Many thanks for that Swanson,

    Does any one have any more detailed opinions or suggestions on this. I had looked through the Plugins list using backup as the search but as advised I’m a newbie to WP so not entirely sure what I am looking for i.e. am do I need to look for something that does a backup of articles, pages, widgits (is that possible?), database etc.

    Basically I’m looking for something that will backup the whole site so copying it to a new folder will replicate it exactly. So maybe I mean transfer / move more than backup ?
