    I would like to be able to control the transparency of the background so that I can still see that there is a website behind the carousel. I am not ale to find where to put in the css to do this. Anyone have any idea how I can do this instead of just having it solid white?

    Many thanks,
    Houston

    Hi Houston,

    You’d need to override the .jp-carousel-overlay class in your CSS. For example, to set a black background with 80% opacity:

    .jp-carousel-overlay {
    background:#000;
    background:rgba(0,0,0,0.8);
    }

    And for a white background:

    .jp-carousel-overlay {
    background:#fff;
    background:rgba(255,255,255,0.8);
    }

    For browsers not supporting rbga transparency, they’ll just see a solid background color.
