Support » Themes and Templates » Background Missing on Pages, but not Index???

  • For some reason I’m losing my background defined in my div titled “rap” on the post and search pages. The background on these individual pages is present in the header, but doesn’t carry on below, as it does on the main index. Can someone please take a look and help me out?

    Here’s the index code, single post code, and the search results code.

    the “rap” div style is:
    border-left: 4px solid black;
    border-right: 4px solid black;
    margin:0 auto;
    font-family: Trebuchet MS, Georgia, Arial, serif;
    font-size: 0.9em;

    thanks so much.

    oh yeah, and the site is here

  • If you could solve the issues found at validator, most of the issues will be resolved.

    and one more thing, the theme that you are using, UrbanDecay, found at is very much the same as what Kaushal Sheth did for

    I don’t know whether it was inspired from that.

    sadish, thanks for your help. I can’t figure out how to fix the sidebar widget problem b/c it’s not in my style sheet. It seems to be coming from the widget code. any advice?

    Also, it looks like items number 18, 19, and 20 in the validator results are most of the problem, but I’m unsure what it is telling me to fix. Could you help me out a little more please?

    can someone please help here please?

    This is my biased opinion, but I felt I should share it: you may be better off finding the original designer of that theme and download the latest copy from his/her website.

    One of my themes was uploaded to their site and upon downloading it, I have found it to be modified — and ads for their website have been added.

    I would advise steering clear of that site. There are much better (more reputable) links to be found here on WP’s site for finding themes.
