I’ve created my first WP website, http://roverandoutdogwalking.co.uk/ using the Tesseract V1 theme (http://tyler.com/2015/create-a-wordpress-website-2015/) but I need some advice on the home page main picture.

All the other pages use background photo’s that don’t need to be full size so the ends get cut off as the page gets smaller and I’ve used the neat trick to position the focal part of the photo as it gets smaller. However with the home page logo I don’t want it to have the end cut off but rather it just shrink, which I know as it’s a long image won’t look very good on mobile devices, so how do I fix it?

I guess the idea of it showing the full image and then swapping to an amended image when the screen resolution hits a certain size would work ? but I have no idea how to achieve this, unless there is a better way work with the image and the homepage?

    Thanks for reading.
