# background image problem

 * hi folks,
 * im trying to have a background image (kubrickbgwide.jpg) on the #page that doesnt
   run into the #header area as ive a transparent gif there and i want the body 
   background to show through without the kubrickbgwide.jpg image appearing anywhere
   on the header area?
    ive been working on a test site here where you can see the

 * been searching the forum and have seen some similar problems but not quite the
   same 🙁 I need the kubrickbgwide.jpg to show on my content (ie to create my side
   bars and content/text) background area but not to display in the header area 
   where its over laying the body background image??

 * still cant seem to be able to work round this using the styles.
    its looking 
   like I will have to amend the actual template but I am a bit worried about causing
   other problems in the process 🙁 Has anyone got a work round for this problem?

 * I noticed the following in your css file:
 * #header {
    /*background-color: #73a0c5;*/ margin: 0 0 0 1px; padding: 0; height:
   200px; width: 758px; }
 * Try this and see if it works:
 * background-color: transparent;
