    Hello,
I am trying to place a different image as background to the widgets 1, 2 and 3 in RESPONSIVE. And hopefully add a call to action button over each one of the images.
I am trying to achieve something similar to what they have at http://www.goamigoinsurance.com
    Any help will be appreciated.

    thanks,
    fdr

  • Hi,

Amigo is Shell Child Theme, not Responsive, however yes you can apply different background to any widget.

Use the browser dev tools and locate your text ID and apply the background to each of them individually. Also see:

    Hi Emil,

I must have done something which has changed the look of my home page. I now have a second border around the headline, content area box as well as the widgets 1, 2 and 3 at bottom of page. It looks like a gray thin line with rounded corners just like the other ones.
I would like to eliminate it and go back to the original floating boxes.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks,
    fdr

Yes, it looks exactly like that, what should I do? Make it a static page?

That’s weird, if your settings look exactly like mine, there should not be any other page but default landing 🙂

Can I get specific, baby instructions on how to make the background images of my home widgets, larger (the same size as the widget box) and any

I’m actually working offline, the link above is the 1st draft before I figured out how to download wordpress to my laptop. Thanks!!
