Background image not responsive and scrolling with page

    Hi there,

    I loaded a 1500px width 1000px height image (mountains+ocean view and girl with open arms).

    In the desktop/table/mobile viewer looks alright and even when I publish and see my site on my computer, but when I look at in in with iPhone 8 there are a couple issues.

    By the way, I tried every single combination in Customizing > General Theme Options > Background Image, but nothings works. Issues are:

    1. the image is not resizing (is huge!)
    2. the image scrolls along with the page, even though I did not check “Scroll with page” (with the Preset: Custom or Repeat options)

    Please advice.

    Hello @lesliemm33,

    As much as I would love to help, Allegiant Pro was not designed to have the background’s slider transparent. Or have the background image display on mobile.
    If you check out our demo on mobile: https://demos.cpothemes.com/allegiant/ you will see that the background image does not show and that the slider is not transparent.

    I believe you made these changes by adding custom CSS, but because of that they are not responsive.
    They do not work because the background image you see on computers has a parallax effect that cannot be replicated on mobile (parallax effects do not work on mobile).

    I’m sorry, we will look for other solutions for future updates but at the moment this is the best one we could find to make the theme responsive.

    Hi,

    Thanks for the clarification about the parallax effect on mobile. I do still need the image to resize, I removed the css I added at one point, but the image is still not responsive on native devices.

    Can you guide me on how to fix it, please?
