    @jalburai, Unless you can provide evidence this plugin has a virus then do not make that accusation.

    The code of the background-image-cropper plugin as distributed by WordPress.org does not contain a virus.

    Please stop running with this.

    You have been hacked. Where the hacker placed the malicious files and backdoor is the concern you should be tackling. You need to follow our advice. Here it is again in case you missed it:

    Get a fresh cup of coffee, take a deep breath and carefully follow this guide. When you’re done, you may want to implement some (if not all) of the recommended security measures.

    If you’re unable to clean your site(s) successfully, there are reputable organizations that can clean your sites for you. Sucuri and Wordfence are a couple.

    Now this thread has stopped being productive and I have closed it.
