Background Image Compression Issue

    Aloha all,

    Iʻm having an issue with a background image on one of my pages. I’ve tried several versions of the image (different resolutions, various dimensions based on images that already exist on the site and appear normal), none of the options I’ve tried work. As of now, the page is not published, but id like for it to be live asap. The photo looks as if I fed WordPress a very small version that it had to stretch to fill the frame. The photo I fed it was 2560 x 1500 pixels.

    It’s just frustrating because this has never happened to me before, and I don’t know why it’s happening. Can anyone offer any guidance? I’d very much appreciate it.

    Could be any number of reasons.
    Without knowing the details of the theme, plugins, tools used and seeing the image on the page, it is difficult to provide any valuable information
