Hi, I just tiled a 1500 x 996px image in Ever After without it cropping (image used full size).
I went to Appearance > Customize > Background, uploaded the image and selected these settings:
Background Repeat: Tile
Background Position: Left
Background Attachment: Scroll
The first one is the important one, the other two (position and attachment) should not matter in anyway, just set them as desired.
My testing was with Ever After 1.1
OK, thx for the reply. Something strange happened: I added header image and suddenly the background picture I had uploded, got its actual size. Pretty strange. When I removed the header image, the background picture went to 40×40 px size again and it is tiled al over the background (yes I choose option Tile; Center; Fixed).
I have another question, I can’t rename the home page – no matter what title I assign for it, it is always displayed as “HOME”, how I can change it?

@sociator, are you talking about on the home page itself, or in the menu? A link to your site would be useful, if it is public.
If in the menu, do you have a custom menu? If so, go to Appearance > Menu and you can edit the home page menu item there and change the label that shows in the menu.
@sacredpath the site isn’t public, I’ve installed WP on my desktop pc and I’m learning it right now. Thank you a lot for the information! I tried what you told me and it worked. The site is getting great with this theme 🙂
