    Hi,

When I look at the zerif-lite demo site, the background image fills the whole width of my screen. However, when I upload any image at the recommended size (2048 x 1365) it does not span the width of my site.

    Please see http://fixcontracting.com/

    Thanks for any help.

    Abe

    Best regards,

No, not really – I am on a 27″ iMac and it does NOT fill my entire screen (resolution: 2560 X 1440) – however your zerif-lite demo shows the image extended to all edges of my screen.

    I would like some help….

I have my backgound image but that image is not responsive, when I acess my website (www.k3web.com.br) on the table or mobile for exemple the image dosent have a good fit.
I tried find the place on the code to put responsive tags but I couldnt.

    Did someone have this problem?

    thanks

I am also have same problem as Abe. I want to use a new image. I have the recommended size of (2048 x 1365). However, when I upload the images it looks all stretched (zoomed in). I have tried down sizing the image that has also not worked. Please let me know how to work around this problem.

    Hi,

Sorry I missed out on including some details, hence reposting the query.

I am also facing the same problem as Abe. I am trying to upload a new image (different that what is showing up on my current page). The size of the image is as per the recommendation (2048 x 1365). However, the Images looks all stretched and not appropriate. Kindly let us know what is the solution to this problem.

    Regards,

I use 1400X740 and I dont have problem.

k3web – what is your screen resolution set to?

I tried using 1400 x 700 still the image looks stretched the resolution is (2560 x 1600) on a 13.3-inch Mac. However, if the theme is responsive then shouldn’t the image automatically adjusted to the screen resolution?

This is my problem…the image is not responsive I have problem with that, when I put in my table for example the image is very big…
The template is responsive but the image isnt… I think so.

My image has 1400×740 resolution on a 14.1 and is perfect.

Even I am coming across the similar issue, the background-image being used on my website is of dimensions 2048 X 1365 (the recommended size) for Zerif Lite theme. But this image zooms in excessively while viewing on tablet, iPad and mobile. Need help to resolve the issue. I even tried with the image resolution 1400 X 700 to no success.

    Thanks,
    Anjali.

It seems the creators of zerif-lite are not offering any kind of (timely) support. I see this issue raised on other forums as well, and they don’t seem to want to reply. Probably easier to just switch to a more responsive site.

This is how we can see your website at our end : http://screencast.com/t/vnhCrfvfsEG4, If still you are getting please send us screenshot and also do let us know in which browser you are looking your site.

    Gourav,

The url of the website is http://www.fixcontracting.com
I have uploaded a screenshot here: http://buwalda.ca/fix.jpg – as you can see from this image, there is a lot of white space to the right and left of the main image.

Now compare the above image from the screenshot of your demo site: http://buwalda.ca/zerif.jpg there is NO white space to the right or left of the main image.

    I am viewing this on a 27″ iMAc with a screen resolution of 2560 x 1440
