Background Color: Losing the Gray

    I’ve attempted to change the standard gray background without any luck. First I tried to simply change the color in the style sheet. Then I tried to go another route by installing Simple Full Screen Background Image plug in to place image in the background. In both cases, I get a flicker when the page loads as if it changes but then something else overrides the change.

    Change Background Color

    Go to Appearance: Editor
    Click on Stylesheet (style.css) at bottom right if not already there.
    Find in code: #main
    background: #fff (3-digit code for white; use the 3-digit code for the color you need)
