    Footer Putter has a number of predefined classes to change the color of the text.
    – dark (for use if the background is light)
    – light (for use if the background is dark)
    – white (for use if the background is dark)

    or you can add your own custom class

    It is assumed the background-color is set by the WordPress theme and hence you can edit the theme’s style.css or use JetPack’s Edit CSS feature to style the widget area into which you drop the footer widgets
