Hi, I hope you all re doing well.

I have a problem with my web and I am unsure if this is the place to ask for help. Sorry in advance if it is not.

What happens is that in my page (marcgavalda.com) it appears a space between the superior menu and the content of the page I am in. It is a little difficult to explain but if you go to the page you will be able to see a space with the color of the background and it is bothering me a lot.

It is a page I am trying to develop as a personal project and this is the only thing I have left to fix before I start posting frequently and try to make people interested.

I previously posted this on another forum and a very kind person told me to insert a code on the CSS advanced part on the personalize menu, but i did not work.

Thank you so much for reading this,
    Marc Gavaldà

    Hi Marc,

Thanks so much for using Poseidon.

There is some CSS from another plugin which conflicts with the Sticky Header styling of the Poseidon theme. I suggest to disable the Sticky Header to see if it works then.

You can also try to disable ALL your plugins and if it works enable them one by one to find the cause.

    Hope that helps.

    Best,
    Thomas

    Good evening, Thomas,

Thanks a lot for your advice! I just tried it and it worked. Very grateful 🙂

Now I have another issue… At the moment when you go to the page the first post looks good in the header, but when the image transforms into the other post it makes an strange jump. Like a glitch if you will. The whole page goes up for a second and then it goes back to normal from then. The following transitions from one post to the other works just fine, it is only when it changes from the first slide to the second.

    Hope the explanation made sense.

    Kind regards,
    Marc

    Hi Marc,

Yes, WordPress Core has added Lazy Loading, so images are not loaded instantly. So once all styles and images are loaded, the layout will look correct. No way to avoid that kind of small glitches.

    Cheers,
    Thomas
