 * I’m using W3 Total Cache now a while.
 * I have a problem with the speed of the backend of WordPress.
    With W3 Total Cache
enabled the backend is very slow.
 * I look to know if it is possible to make the backend faster.
 * I did it with Redis and the [Redis Object Cache plugin](https://wordpress.org/plugins/redis-cache/).
 * But now i have Redis working with W3 Total Cache, see my [tutorial](https://www.vincentverloop.nl/blog/webhosting/how-to-install-wordpress-w3-total-cache-redis/).
 * But another but, it is now slower with W3 Total Cache, then with Redis Object
   Cache plugin.
It looks like that W3 Total Cache caching almost nothing, when
   you are logged in.
 * Is it possible to use some of the W3 Total Cache feautures, like Redis, when
   you are logged in?
Or did i see it the wrong way and is there already caching
at the backend with W3 Total Cache…

 * The only WordPress websites on shared hosting, that i have seen fast, are at
an Lightspeed webserver or using Redis with the Redis Object Cache plugin…

 * WordPress is the coolest CMS there is, but the backend is soooo slow..that it
   is not cool anymore.

 * I hope that W3 Total Cache can give priority to the backend (wp-admin), to make
   it faster…

 * Disabling object cache is not the solution.
 * I don’t enable it on shared hosting. I only enable object caching at a VPS, when
   Redis or Memcached is installed.
 * Wordpress is heavy sofware, that you need good hosting. But maybe that it is
possible with W3 Total Cache, to make wp-admin faster.
