Hello, this is the first time I see this issue in many website I manage, with a professional theme bought on themeforest if I enable the plugin, the article categories in wp-admin backend do not appear, if I see the code a “display: none;” style is added to category <tr> tag.

    Here a screenshot: https://prnt.sc/m8t8cd

Could anyone point me to the right direction?

We apologize for the trouble you are experiencing with our plugin. Sometimes strange behavior may be caused by a plugin or theme conflict.

Please provide the answers to the following:

    1. Make sure the issue doesn’t persist when Yoast SEO is disabled. If the issue persists when Yoast SEO is inactive, our plugin is not causing the unexpected behavior.
    2. Have you performed a conflict check? If not, please do so. Did you discover a conflict?
    3. Does the issue occur when using a default theme with only Yoast SEO active?
    4. Does the issue occur with the current 4.9.x or 5.0.x version of WordPress?
    5. Does the issue occur with the current 9.4 version of Yoast SEO?

Hello thanks for the reply, the issue occur with the current 9.4 version of Yoast SEO and WordPress version 4.9.9

The issue disappear when I hide the “Meta Box Yoast SEO” for the category in the SEO options, so I would say that it is not a serious problem you can live like that too 🙂

Thanks for confirming you were able to resolve this with a workaround. Does the issue still occur when using only Yoast SEO and a default theme such as twentyseventeen?
