Support » Fixing WordPress » Back End Page Search

  • hello, we now have over 1000 pages and hundreds of posts on our main site.

finding a page in the back end is now becoming almost impossible because a lot of terms are used on a lot of different pages.

Is there a plugin or something out there that makes page search in the back end easier?

    Thanks

  • Hi RGOnline,

You can implement Google search in your WordPress. Alternatively you can wait for the new WordPress 3.7 which addresses a lot of issues with search. For more information on WordPress 3.7 refer to the following URL: http://wordpress.org/news/2013/09/wordpress-3-7-beta-1/

hi there, yes i have been looking forward to the new search implementation in 3.7 but my query is with the admin side (back end) of the site

    IE pages>All Pages> Search for a page

    Thanks for your comments

The new search improvements in WordPress 3.7 also apply to the admin panel.

I haven’t seen any search plugin that caters for what you are looking for. If you find any before 3.7 is released, please let us know.
