It isn’t clear which child theme formats blog posts. Anyone have any experience with the Babylog theme?
A child theme is not specific to any page or file. Start by reading this:

There is only one style.css in the child theme and it covers the entire site. Generally, the same selector (.entry-meta ) would be used throughout the site for that element. If you only want it removed on some pages, you can usually use an additional selector to do that.
