    Shameful really and goes against what WordPress set out to do. Hope this gets rolled back.

    WordPress has a goal to democratize publishing. Working to update the editor and (eventually) to create a more unified editing experience across the whole platform is also one of the goals.

    Now that the execution is done (and I’m sorry you didn’t like that part!), may I ask what type of content you work on and what your goals are and how the previous editor was helpful to you in that work?
