It is normal you see message update wordpress db when reverting back to previous version of wp, just update it and ready to go again
I will look into Divi. Thank you for leaving a review with details about your experience.
Update,
My site is still ruined since I tried to restore through the host and it did not work. I am in the process of rebuilding it. Thank God most of but not all of my content is still there. I admit that I did not back up like I should have, my bad…..
So I have a possible cause of my situation. Could it have been the timing of the Divi updates versus the Gutenbugr update? I noticed that Divi did several updates since I have updated to Gutenberg.
This leaves me to think that this release is very premature and that theme creators were not ready yet. Mostly the themes that have Page builders built in or page builder plugins that are conflicting.
Also, I have played with it a bit and think that unless the WordPress new block builder (Gutenberg) is better then let’s say, visual builder, it should not have been released. It should have been an option and then over time all the bugs could have been worked out, as well as new features added with major testing and feedback.
Overall I really do not like it…..Just sayin. It was premature.
Do I think WordPress should head down the block builder highway? Yes, I do. It is the premature rollout that I believe everyone is complaining about as well as bloggers that want the classic editor.

after my upgrade to 5 I immediately downgraded again to previous version. Since then sites 2 times slower in loading.
Unacceptable. And the way WordPress handles this and keeps pushing Gutenberg is beyond unacceptable.
