    I have a question regarding the awesome support plugin, when creating a ticket i would like users to pick one of 4 subjects from a dropdown, this can be static since the subjects won’t change.
    I found some info about custom fields and how to implement a dynamic dropdown, but i couldn’t find info for a static one, or how to add the items in the list.
    Hopefully someone can help me out, i’m editing the themes/submission.php for this and want to replace the current subject code.
    Thanks in advance!

    If you want to replace the subject text input you’re better off editing the template instead of using custom fields. For editing the template, please refer to https://getawesomesupport.com/documentation/awesome-support/templating/

    The template you need to edit is submission.php and you’ll find the subject text input around line 28. You can replace that by a select input as long as you don’t change the name attribute.

    Be careful, if you change the name tag it will break ticket submission.

    Can you elaborate on this a bit? Maybe provide an example of what the modified code ought to look like with this sample inserted?

    <select>
    <option value=”volvo”>Volvo</option>
    <option value=”saab”>Saab</option>
    <option value=”mercedes”>Mercedes</option>
    <option value=”audi”>Audi</option>
    </select>
