  • This is an awesome plugin that should be included in the core. Makes my life so much easier.

Only two updates need to be made, in my opinion:

    1) SVG files do not show up. They’re listed, but no preview. I had to hunt for a hack to make them appear in the regular media manager, so I have no idea how to make them appear in this manager.

    2) the default sort order seems to be Oldest First. I wish I had a way to default the listing order to the same order as the regular media library.

Otherwise, this is an incredible plugin!

  • I just found how to change the sort order. Now I just need the SVG to show a thumbnail.

Thanks for this review – positive reviews are a great motivation to keep working on the plugin and supporting its users.

I’m glad you found the Settings/Media Library Assistant General tab setting to change your default sort order.

Regarding the SVG issue, this would be best raised in the support forum so everyone can find it and benefit from its resolution.

The SVG file extension can be activated by going to the Settings/Media Library Assistant Uploads tab. Enter “.svg” in the search box and click “Search Uploads”; the entry will appear in the submenu table below. Move the mouse to the Extension column to display the rollover actions and click “Quick Edit”. In the Quick Edit area uncheck the “inactive” box and click “Update”. That should give you the thumbnail support you want.

If you have any problems with this process or any further questions, please open up a Support Forum topic and I will give you all the help I can. Thanks again for your interest in the plugin.
