    Hi Futtta,

    Thanks for the great plugin. :)

    However, I'm having a little problem. I'm using the plugin, and my YouTube video is showing the lite embed image. However, it's not showing the YouTube play button and other things that are supposed to be there.

    You can have a look here:

    I'm not sure of what's wrong... :(

    Without the buttons, the embed just looks like an image and not a video that you can click and play.

    Thanks for the help. :)

    Interesting problem Endearing Designer;

    lyte-min.js is trying to load the image from
    which has a slash missing between lyte and lytesprite.png

    lyte-min.js uses the bU-value which is declared in the HTML;

    var bU='http://cdn.theendearingdesigner.com/wp-content/plugins/wp-youtube-lyte/lyte'

    but bU should have a slash at the end, cfr. this code in wp-youtube-lyte.php:

    echo "var bU='".$lyteSettings['path'].";'";

    I would suspect (but can't be sure) the slash gets obliterated by the CDN-plugin you use. It would be best if you'd log a ticket there, you can tell the developer I'm willing to assist to identify the issue.

    But not to leave you hanging, here's a quick workaround; open up wp-content/plugins/wp-youtube-lyte/lyte/lyte-min.js, look for

    and change that into

    hope this helps,

    Hi Futtta,

    Thanks for the reply. :)

    You were right. It is the CDN plugin that's causing the problem.

    I tried to use your workaround, but it didn't seem to work for some reason. :(

    I had no choice but to exclude the wp-content/plugins/wp-youtube-lyte/lyte/ directory from my CDN for the moment.

    I'm using MaxCDN with W3 Total Cache just in case you wanted to know.

    I will let you know if MaxCDN finds a solution to the problem.

    Thanks! :)

    regarding the workaround; make sure to flush maxcdn (i'm there as well) cache.

    and it would probably be w3 total cache, not maxcdn who is eating the slash.
