Hello! Captain Up for WordPress, as of today, was designed toward the blog’s audience rather than an incentive for the blog’s writers. However, this isn’t the first time we’ve heard such a cool request! We’re considering this option carefully and it might make it into our 2014 roadmap.

In the meantime: It is possible to manually do this, if you or you colleagues have worked with WordPress and PHP in the past. Simply include the Captain Up code only in the WordPress admin section (rather than the opposite which is how our plugin currently functions), and then configure it at will!

Brilliant… really looking forward to it. By the way, great job with the plugin. Keep it up guys 🙂

    Hey hey 🙂

do you know when do you’ll implement this request?
I would love to have this feature.

Or could you please explain me what do you mean by “Simply include the Captain Up code only in the WordPress admin section”? I’m familiar with PHP but just getting started with WordPress. 🙂

Thank you for this Plugin! It’s really easy to use and very powerful. 🙂

I’m afraid we still do not have an estimate on this request.

In the meantime, installing Captain Up manually is possible by implementin the code of Captain Up and making API calls directly to our servers. For more information:
