    I’ve had some cases were someone signs up for an event and is directed to PayPal, but drops before completing the checkout.

    These end up registering as bookings in Event Manager with the status “Awaiting PayPal Payment”.

    The problem is that I don’t receive an email to notify me about a booking space being taken up unless someone completes the PayPal transaction.

    Is there a way for Events Manager to send out an email as soon as someone clicks to purchase a ticket purchase, but before they’re redirected to PayPal? Even if they don’t complete the PayPal transaction, this would notify us to go check the bookings and either follow up with them, or remove their booking to make room for more.

    Do you have pending booking emails activated?



    Hi Caimin,

    Yes, I think that I do. In Settings > Emails the Pending Booking Email has an email subject set as Booking Pending. That should activate it, right?

    The thing is that the Booking Details status for this isn’t showing as Pending, it’s Awaiting PayPal Payment (aka Awaiting Online Payment).

    When I’m clicked in Edit Booking on one of these Awaiting PayPal Payment bookings, and I click “Resend Email” it returns with the message “No emails to send for this booking.”
