# Avoid the free version

 * The free version is pretty useless. It showed me, that malware was found in a
   plugin, but did not show which. This is not helpful.
   Also, super annoying dark
   patterns, like that you have to give a reason when deactivating the plugin, otherwise
   it wouldn’t let you.Also, it was aware that there was malware but did not inform
   the admin!? Why??

   and login security, while features such as malware cleanup and access to detailed
   malware information are available with our Premium plans.
 * We also explain these differences in our Free vs. Paid plans video and in the
   section covering MalCare’s Free Services.
 * That said, we understand your concern about the malware detection not providing
   enough information on the Free plan.
 * We appreciate you bringing this to our attention, and we’ll share your feedback
   with our team to see how we can make the available information and plan differences
   clearer.
