Good afternoon. I’m trying to optimize the resources of my hosting, and I see that your plugin is generating 3 image sizes from ALL my posts (not just the custom posts):

    wpbdp-mini – 50x50px
    wpbdp-thumb – 350x350px
    wpbdp-large – 2000x2000px

Is there a way for your plugin to use the default WordPress sizes (thumbnail, medium and large) and not create new sizes?

I think I can do it by editing the code of your plugin, but I would lose the changes if it is updated, so I wonder if it is possible to do it with some function in the functions.php

    Thank you very much!

    Hi @alberto3,

Sorry that you ran into issues here!

Right now, BD must control the sizes of the images in order to allow you to configure images that are different than those of your website. The Media Library has it’s own settings for your blog posts and pages, but ours may need to be different depending on your requirements. Rather than force your entire site to have one set of sizes, we give you the option of customizing BD’s images as well.

You can modify the thumbnail and maximum sizes of BD’s images to match those of your site under Directory Admin->Manage Options, Images tab, but this isn’t something we’ll be changing in the future as it reduces flexibility in the plugin.

    I hope that helps.

Please let me know if you have any other questions or issues!
